Prescription Diet® r/d® with Liver & Chicken is a low calorie, high fiber nutritional therapy with the highest levels of L-carnitine to effectively reduce weight and increase lean muscle mass while helping cats feel full. The nutritional formulation of Prescription Diet® r/d® may also be useful for pets with a variety of conditions.

Daily Feeding Guide

Cover and refrigerate unused portion. These ranges are a starting point only. Determine the amount to feed based on your pet’s desired weight rather than the current weight. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian. With your veterinarian’s approval, mix increasing amounts of your pet’s new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period. Feline r/d® is available in canned and dry. Supplementation with other foods is unnecessary and may decrease the effectiveness of the food. When using with Feline r/d dry, decrease the amount of canned food to avoid overfeeding.
