Feline k/d® with Chicken
For the Nutritional Management of Cats with Kidney Disease.

There are many causes for kidney disease resulting in an variety of uncomfortable and life threatening symptoms for your cat. Kidney disease can be either sudden (acute) or occur gradually (chronic). Prescription Diet® Feline k/d® has been uniquely formulated to help manage cats with kidney disease. Kidney disease can result from other illness or changes in your cat’s health, breed/hereditary tendencies and even nutritional factors. The signs of kidney disease remain difficult to detect until more than two-thirds of kidney function are lost. Prescription Diet® Feline k/d® with Chicken also provides a texture and taste your cat will love. The nutritional formulation of Prescription Diet® k/d® may also be useful for pets with a variety of conditions.

 
 
Daily Feeding Guide
Cover and refrigerate unused portion.
These ranges are a starting point only. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian.
With your veterinarian’s approval, mix increasing amounts of your pet’s new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period.
Feline k/d® is available in canned dry. Supplementation with other foods is unnecessary and may decrease the effectiveness of the food. When using with Feline k/d dry, decrease the amount of canned food to avoid overfeeding.
