Patented synergistic formulation for removing scales, degreasing the skin and killing cutaneous microorganisms, which primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis.

In combination with systemic therapy, Malaseb was shown to accelerate the resolution of Microsporum Canis, reducing the risk of transmission of the disease to other animals and to humans in contact with them. For use on dogs, cats and horses.

The active ingredients are Chlorhexidine gluconate 2% which has proven antimicrobial activity against gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus intermedius and gram negative bacteria. Miconazole nitrate 2%, a imidazole antifungal with potent activity against gram positive bacteria, fungi and yeast, including Malassezia pachydermatis and Microsporum and Trichophyton ringworm species.

Removes damaged lipid without stripping the coat. Free from dyes and perfumes to reduce possible exacerbation of skin problems and cause skin reactions or irritations.

Application: After wetting the animal thoroughly with water apply shampoo to the animal at several points and massage into the coat to generate a lather. Ensure that Malaseb is applied around the lips, under the tail and between the toes as these areas harbor causative organisms. Let shampoo penetrate for 10 minutes, then rinse off with water. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms abate
